Freelance Video Editing

I price projects with a base estimate, starting at $200, up to $800 at most. Around halfway in, we do a check in to show the progress. Pricing will never go up during a check in unless you request an improved iteration beyond what the initial plan had. I spent 4 years editing for free, so my intention is as far from a scammer as you could put me. For my own sanity, I take the first half of the payment up front, and the rest when I send the final cut.

Every video idea takes a different amount of time and effort to bring to life. These are the variables I'm considering when estimating a price point for a video:

• Organization of content provided (folders, labeling, all content at once)
• Duration of the video (body)
• Level of detail requested (comparative to my portfolio)
